After you submit your application...
Once you have completed the application form on this page, you may be asked to provide a 'self tape' of yourself which can be submitted on your behalf to our clients.
Simply, this is a self-recorded video where you will be asked to give your name, the campaign you are being considered for, as well as anything relevant to the casting that the client has specifically asked for, such as a few lines of dialog or a particular type of outfit.
The default for a self-tape is a well-lit room with natural light. Standing in front of a plain white wall, facing a window is often ideal. You should not wear make-up and you should have your hair away from your face. Face the camera to start, show your side profile, your back side, and your other side profile. There should not be any music on your self-tape.
Not following the given instructions is a great way to get yourself disqualified quickly. The same hold true for gimmicks that you think will get you noticed or remembered. Just follow the brief, it's been given to you for a reason.
For larger campaigns, there may be several rounds of casting, starting with a self-tape and ending with in-person meetings with the client before contracts are signed.
